Satellite map July 11-16

gemap20090716.jpgThis map covers the period early morning July 11 to early morning July 16. The data points show a much broader territory for Azalea. All three of the juvenile NBG eagles (HE, HH, HK) have been observed soaring above the airport and NBG in the afternoons. Some of these data points, like the ones over water, would be while Azalea was flying. The amount of time near the airport is of concern, and hopefully all three will soon leave for safer flying space.

Thanks…I’ve been waiting to see the travels of the past few days :-) I’ll miss them, but I think I’d like to see them away from the airport, too.

Me too!Its always a worry when any wildlife flys around the airports but of course I am partial to the eagles . Hope they find a safer place soon. I will miss them too,just like I miss our juvies who I have only seen once since they have fledged.
Hopefully the adults will return to our park in the Fall like they have done the past 4 years.

Well looks like an empty nest now. With Gods will, it starts all over in about six months.
