Just as Azalea has done the past two years she has left the NC Tidewater Research Station and returned to Virginia. She has returned to a place she has also visited before – Poquoson, VA. The last map showed that Azalea was at the NC Tidewater Research Station near Plymouth, NC – YELLOW arrow Aug 7 at 2:00pm. She stayed there until Aug 10 when she once again headed north PINK pointer Aug 10 at NOON flying over Chowan County. She spent the night in South Mills, NC in Camden County GREEN pointer Aug 11 at 1:00am and remained there until Aug 13. Azalea continued north back into Chesapeake, VA – PURPLE pointer Aug 13 at 2:00pm and stayed overnight at Back Bay - ORANGE pointer Aug 14 at 1:00am. She again headed north flying over Norfolk - LIGHT BLUE pointer Aug 14 at 1:00pm on her way back to Poquoson, VA - YELLOW POINTER AUG 15 at 1:00am. She was at Whalebone Island August 16 at 1:00am WHITE POINTER and as of this satellite map still there WHITE ARROW Aug 16 at 10:00am. Click maps to enlarge.
