While I was away checking on the Kodiak brown bears in Katmai, Alaska, Camellia spent most of his time in the area of the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth River in Virginia Beach. On the last map he made a brief visit to Bow Creek Golf Course – YELLOW arrow Aug 7 at 5:00pm. He then spent one night in Witchduck in Va Beach PINK pointer Aug 9 at 6:00am, before heading south to Land of Promise Rd in rural Chesapeake GREEN pointer Aug 10 at 1:00am. Camellia then flew back north and for the next few days hung around variours neighborhoods (he is an urban eagle) on both sides of the Elizabeth River and I-64 in Va Beach and Norfolk – PURPLE pointer Aug 11 at 1:00am, ORANGE pointer Aug 12 at 1:00am, LIGHT BLUE Aug 13 at 5:00pm, YELLOW POINTER Aug 15 at 5:00pm, WHITE POINTER Aug 16 at NOON. As of this satellite map Camellia is near the southern end of Indian River in Chesapeake in the Georgetown neighborhood off Longdale Crescent – WHITE ARROW Aug 8 at 7:00pm. Click maps to enlarge.
