Azalea Returns to Smith Point 10/25

Creatures of habit! Not just a phrase. Azalea has once again,  just as she did last October, returned to Smith Point on the Little Wicomico River in Northumberland County, VA. She is near the Smith Point Marina (http://smithpointmarina.com). Here are her data points for the past three days – YELLOW arrow Oct 22 at 1:00am (Colonial Historic Historic Park – York County), PINK pointer Oct 23 at 1:00am (Gloucester County), GREEN pointer Oct 24 at 1:00am (Northumberland County near Burgess), BLUE pointer Oct 25 at 1:00am (Northumberland County near Ophelia), and as of this morning at 10:00am at Smith Point. Next map Nov 1 as I am going to see polar bears in Churchill, Manitoba for a few days.

We’re all going to be on pins and needles to hear if Azalea and Cam are OK after this terrible storm blows through.

Kids, find a sturdy branch in a sturdy tree, tuck in your heads and keep your wings close to your body. Either that or I hope you heard about Sandy and took off for places further inland.
