Azalea Still Feasting on Catfish

As of yesterday afternoon, April 18, Azalea was still just east of Plymouth, NC at the catfish ponds. Detailed map later. In the meantime you can see her location at www.wildlifetracking.org/index.shtml?tag_id=83736.

I was down there around 5 pm on Monday, the 19th, plenty of adults and some juveniles….would the transmitter antenna be sticking straight up, that is, evident in flight on Azalea (didn’t see it, just curious) ?

Randy – Yes – Look at the photo at the top of this Eagletrak blog. That is a photo of Azalea in flight with the transmitter on her back. That is what to look for.

Randy – see the picture at top of this blog – that is AZ with her transmitter. So hope you see her and GET PICS πŸ™‚

Reese glad she is still loving the catfish – hope they keep her in NC….we love having her. I want our state to be as populated with Eagles and Eagle lovers as VA is . Thank you – Dixie
